Kuai Shan Fang Receives the 2025 Taipei City Sustainable Development Contribution Award
The 2025 Taipei Entrepreneurs Annual Summit and Taipei City Highlight Enterprise Awards Ceremony was grandly held at Syntrend Creative Park. Kuai Shan Fang was honored with the 2025 Sustainable Development Contribution Award in recognition of its outstanding achievements in sustainability and green energy innovation.
The judging panel of the Taipei City Industrial Development Incentive Program unanimously commended Kuai Shan Fang for its long-standing commitment to environmental reuse, circular economy practices, and responsible innovation. Through advanced production techniques and sustainable product development, the company has demonstrated meaningful contributions toward net-zero goals and corporate social responsibility.
Bringing the Forest Home
Founded in 2012 by husband-and-wife team Ching-Yung Lee and Su-Chiu Huang, Kuai Shan Fang was born from a deeply personal mission. Motivated by care for Lee’s father during his battle with cancer, Lee sought to bring the healing phytoncides of the forest into the home to support respiratory well-being. This heartfelt intention became the brand’s core philosophy: “Bringing the Forest Home.”
By upcycling reclaimed Taiwanese cypress wood offcuts, Kuai Shan Fang developed a proprietary double-distillation technology that extracts high-purity essential oil rich in Taiwan’s unique hinoki compounds. Its parent company, BIO-GOD Biotechnology, repurposes residual Taiwanese cypress wood originally used in premium furniture production.
